Maryuu is a spontaneous and childish android who almost always overreacts to any given situation. He's also quite belligerent and sort of wants to be a hero. That said, he loves the other androids who took him in, and tries his best to protect them in his own way. Especially big bro Raiden.
Maryuu can be a little selfish and a crybaby, but he's still good-natured and friendly.
Though it can be said that he hasn't matured or grown up despite his years in Daiten Daichi, the truth is that he would gladly take a blow for one of those he cares for and wouldn't cry doing so.
Maryuu is able to render stories into Danmaku.
Maryuu's fighting style involves taking stories, and rendering them into danmaku. His recreations tend to be over the top elaborate, downright ridiculous, and/or amusing in a dark and highly destructive way.
This being said, he has familiars ('Laser Nexi') do the attacking. He has two types - a four slot laser nexus that is used to spawn lasers, and a spin-type danmaku spewing nexus.
As of the ending of Adamantine Memory Blade, he is still living in the Village of Androids (Robot Suburbia). As for his occupation, he helps out with village tasks that need to be done and does work around the village.
Maryuu (original name Martin Russell Jr.) was a young child who met an early but sad fate. Once reincarnated, he inhabited a mechanical android body provided by the Road of Machinery and adapted it to somewhat resemble his original appearance.
Maryuu was created along with the main plot, as he plays the role of Stage 4 Boss and is required to fill in a number of very specific roles (i.e., he basically explains what's going on, etc.). He was the first of the two (formerly three, Emitter was dropped from the cast) android cast members of Adamantine Memory Blade to have his name and story role finalized.
Maryuu's name is completely arbitrary. His name as a human was thrown together on May 2, 2017 using Wikipedia.
Maryuu has a newer body model that resembles how we was when he was alive, except with countless extra features, such as the 'cool' blues patterns across his body and the unnecessary, likewise 'cool' plates used for his midsection. Of course, the material is not painted and is of premium quality metal. He still wrecks himself occasionally by doing reckless things (that was not a pun).
Maryuu is relatively short and skinny.
Maryuu is the Stage 4 Midboss and Boss of Adamantine Memory Blade
Maryuu remembers Teiki for the nonexistent Dismemberment Ceremony of the Great Big Bro Raiden. That's probably it, honestly.
Maryuu adoringly refers to Raiden as 'Big Bro', though that is simply Maryuu latching onto someone out of loneliness. To be fair, the two get along well, and Raiden acts as mentor and teacher, as well as mechanic whenever Maryuu injures himself (which happens often).
Maryuu refers to Ryusuke as 'Bro Ryusuke', but latches onto him far less than poor ol' Raiden. Maryuu typically just wants to see Ryusuke make pretty fire shows for him.
